    This book is so intriguing It is a wordless picture book however I would not hesitate to use it with upper elementary students in addition to primary students The illustrations are captivating and despite the lack of words there are none you feel connected to the characters The story is of a young child who builds a polar bear in the snow which is engaging because he doesn t make a snowman which would be expected The boy doesn t want to leave the polar bear outside alone but when he goes inside and falls asleep he dreams about the bear There are events that I will leave alone since it is a story for the reader to invent In addition, there are author notes at the beginning of the book that provide suggestions on how to best enjoy the book and a poem at the end that could be used in conjunction with the pictures I think boys and girls would adore this book Lastly, the book is titled in both English...
